How does my page show “Live now”?
When you go live on Twitch or YouTube, your profile picture on your page automatically gets a red live ring, with a button to your stream below it. Visitors reach you with one tap.
On the website
- Connect Twitch or YouTube under Creator Business → Connections.
- Below that, leave Live banner on your page switched on.
- Go live. Within five minutes at the latest, your page shows the live ring. When the stream ends, it disappears on its own.
In the app
- Tap More → Creator Business and choose Connections.
- Connect Twitch or YouTube and leave Live banner on your page switched on.
Good to know
- The live banner is part of Max, like Connections.
- Only what Twitch or YouTube report themselves is shown.
- TikTok doesn't share this information with other apps, so there is no banner for TikTok.
- Instagram will follow as soon as it works reliably there.
